The receptionist
Uninvolved uncaring
Also qualified to decide if an emergency is an emergency
Let’s hope the lady does not need medical help
Today I saw dr Rhian Chatfield
By far the best gp I’ve ever seen . ( and I’ve seen a few ) ☺️
She listen to everything I had to say and repeatedly searched for more information about what was going on with me .
I don’t think she left any stone unturned .
She was unbelievably thorough in finding out my issues and history .
And at no stage did I feel rushed .
She then outlined a clear plan moving forward.
She explained everything and answer all my questions despite me constantly talk over her. .
She was very patient with me and I truly felt like she wanted to help .
She discussed all my options of medication along with the sides affects - she did not Just pick a medication , she searched and asked questions to find the best medication for me .
I would highly recommend Rhain and I already have !
Professionalism at the highest level and clearly a fantastic human . .
2 years of having to run the gauntlet of incompetent reception staff and having a different doctor for virtually every appointment, lost test results, receptionists clumsily trying to interpret clinical medical test results, total and utter ignorance when it comes to replying to emails and phone calls eg when i sent an urgent prescription request explaining that i was in too much pain to travel to the surgery the doctor simply decided he wanted to see me and did not even bother to inform me of this and just left it to me to call and find out from the reception staff! i have been consistently misdiagnosed and sent for important test.the results of which were lost. I have now finally given up with the shambolic care from this nhs trust as a whole. I have now been forced to go private or run the risk of dying at the hands of this catastrophe of a surgery.
Too many complaints to list. Very untrustworthy staff with no compassion people skills. They have no idea on how to solve complaints. Pleased to hear Dr Hunssinger and DR Tillot have both left as both were terrible DR's so it might improve. I am so pleased I left this surgery. Dr Patton was an amazing Dr who also left.
This surgery is intrusive with receptionists asking about the ailment. This should not be allowed. It is also unacceptable that a person should have to wait a month for an appointment to have treatment with a nurse. The way the appointments are allocated is ridiculous. The receptionist said “we can only do the certain thing on certain days” surely all appointments with the nurse are the same, it should just be about allocating enough time. The receptionist spoke to me like rubbish all the time looking down her nose at me! Disgraceful behaviour!! She didn’t even have the know how to be able to refer me to another clinic or surgery for treatment. Basically allowing me to go home and wait a month for an appointment during which time my ailment could most likely turn into a serious infection. It’s doctor surgeries like this that lead to A+E departments being full of people that could be easily treated an the GP surgery!!
